The Ukraine plans to resume negotiations with the EU and Russia on creation of trilateral consortium to manage its gas transportation system. At least, the Ukrainian Prime Minister Nikolay Azarov expressed intention to discuss this issue again. Experts of the Rossiyskaya gazeta differed in forecasts of the negotiations’ result.

The Fund of Economic Development’s Director Sergei Pikin believes that their results will be maximally graphic. According to him, this is the last chance of the Ukraine to save its paying capacity. “If it doesn’t receive a loan from Russia, it won’t be able to fulfill some its commitments this year already. Kiev doesn’t have a possibility not to move forward to Russia. And this isn’t a wish of the Russian party, this is fact for our neighbor,” – Sergei Pikin thinks.
