Since the beginning of 2019, coal production at Russian Coal mines has increased by 30%

Production of hard coal from the open pit mines of Russian Coal, a part of M. Gutseriev’s SAFMAR group, increased by 30% to 5.6 million tons. This was reported by Russian Coal.

Yakutugol restores disturbed lands

Yakutugol HC JSC (part of Mechel Group) has reclaimed land disturbed as a result of coal mining at the Neryungri mine. In 2019, the total area of reclaimed land was about 64 hectares.
