Oil export growth by CPC made up 10% in January

​In Jan 2016 oil shipment at the sea terminal of the CPC made up 3.912 mln tons which is by 9.5% higher than in Jan 2015. Compared with December 2015 the volume of oil shipment at CPC fell by 3.5%.

The CPC pipeline unites the oil deposits of the west of Kazakhstan with the sea terminal in Novorossiysk. Its length is 1,511 km.

On the results of 2015 CPC pumped 42.759 mln tons of oil. The capacity of the CPC after the expansion will make up 67 mln tons a year.

The shareholders of CPC are Russia (Transnet -24%, CPC Company -7%) – 31%, Kazakhstan (KMG-19% and Kazakhstan Pipeline Ventures LLC – 1.75%) – 20.75%, Chevron Caspian Pipeline Consortium Company - 15%, Lukarco B.V. – 12.5%, CPC "Mobil" – 7.5%, Rosneft-Shell Caspian Ventures Limited – 7.5%, Agip International N.V. - 2% and Oryx Caspian Pipeline LLC – 1.75%.
