Over 50% of works are complete by Shakh-Deniz project

​Over 50% of works are complete by the Shakh-Deniz-2 project, the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan, N. Aliev, said.

A large-scale work on the expansion of the South Caucasus gas pipeline has been held.

Over 20% of the pipeline has been constructed. The construction of compressor stations in Georgia has started. We repeatedly reported that the works are held ahead the schedule. The process of pipes shipment for the TANAP is over and the welding works have started. In 2016 it is planned to start the construction of TAP, Aliev said.

He said that possible problems that might arise in the process of realization will be discussed at the meeting.
