“Take -or -pay” principle not to work for gas purchase in Q2 – Ministry of Energy and Coal of the Ukraine

The Ukraine hopes that the “take –or-pay” principle will not be applied for gas purchase in Q2, the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of the Ukraine, V. Demchishin, said.
According to him, the Ukraine hopes for the prolongation of the winter package in the form valid in Q1 when the volumes of the gas supplies didn’t take into account the take-or-pay principle, is reported.
