Gazprom to go on gas supplies to Donbass without the application of the Ukraine

​Gazprom will go continue to supply the Russian gas to Donbass despite of the expiration of the winter package and Naftogas hasn’t made another tranche of advance payment.

The President Putin supported the decision on the prolongation for Q2 of a prudential price of gas supplies to the Ukraine provided that the norms of the contract between Gazprom and Naftogas are followed.

Previously Gazprom’s head, A. Miller, said that the company had sent a letter to the Government asking to consider the issue of granting a discount for gas supplies to the Ukraine for 3 months. Later the Minister of Energy, A. Novak, said that simultaneously with Gazprom the management of Naftogas addressed the Russian company asking to grant a discount for the Russian gas.
