Rosneft searches for alternative routes to China

“Rosneft” keeps searching for a possibility of oil transportation increase to China to perform the contract under the conditions of restriction of infrastructure. They discuss an increase of supply via Skovorodino-Mokha, branch of ESPO, as well as via Kazakhstan. The company has to use unobvious routes, as it failed to force out competitors of the overfilled ESPO pipeline. It is not clear so far if Rosneft will be able to meet the demand of China. The company can only transport 4.4 million tons of additional gas of a total 5 million tons to date.
