Head of Union of Oil and Gas Producers price of $50-60 per barrel to satisfy Russian oil companies

Russian oil companies now would be satisfied with the price of $50-60 per barrel. This opinion was expressed by president of the Union of Oil and Gas Producers of Russia Gennady Schmal.

"If we talk about a fair price in the whole world, I believe, it is $80 per barrel. It is necessary to take into account that a large part of the oil - about a third - is produced on shelf, where the cost can be high. But the high price has one drawback - it may affect the demand, what has happened. So today oil companies would be satisfied with the price of $50-60 per barrel. And in general, I think, for the world producers and consumers, even for the United States, this would be an acceptable price," - he said.
