In January-February, Russian companies reduced import of polystyrene by 5%

Russian companies decrease import of polystyrene and increase purchases on the domestic market. The largest drop in the demand for imported brands is on the market of expandable polystyrene and impact-resistant grades. At the same time, there is a significant growth in the import on the general purpose polystyrene market, Market Report informs.

In January-February, the total import of polystyrene in Russia decreased by 5% as compared to January-February 2015 and amounted to 13.4 thousand tons.
