Rosneft may be not loss making at the oil price of $10/barrel

Rosneft thinks that its projects will be loss making only in 1 case – if the oil price falls below $1

/barrel.

From the point of view of profitability of our investment and possibility to exist not making loss, we start to make profit at the price of higher than $10.

If it happens, we will correct the launch of downstream and upstream projects.

Many large companies are shocked by such information.

The head of Rosneft, I. Sechin,  said that the prime cost of oil extraction in Russia is the lowest.

The operational expenditure of oil companies in Russia, according to him, are also very low.

Rosneft extracts oil at the expenditure of $2.7-2.8/barrel.
