Gas production in the Ukraine grows by 2.3%

In January-April 2016, the natural gas production in the Ukraine grew by 2.3% (by 148.6 million cubic meters) compared to the same period in 2015 to 6 716.6 million cubic meters, a source in the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry reports.

According to the Ministry, in the reporting period, Naftogaz Ukrainy reduced the gas production by 1% (by 54.8 million cubic meters) to 5 billion 328.5 million cubic meters. Including, Ukrgazvydobuvannya increased the gas production by 0.5% (by 22.7 million cubic meters) to 4 888.2 million cubic meters, while Ukrnafta reduced it by 15% (77.5 million cubic meters) to 440.3 million cubic meters.
