Gazprom expects increase in gas price and export volumes
In the second half of 2016, Russia could increase its gas exports to European countries, and the price of "blue fuel" will be higher. This was reported by deputy chairman of the company Alexander Medvedev on 31 May, at the press conference of Gazprom.
According to him, the current, second quarter of 2016 will be the lowest on the level of the gas prices in comparison with the remaining half of the year. Gazprom expects that in the third and fourth quarters the price of "blue fuel" will increase significantly.
Also, Alexander Medvedev noted that the Russian gas company had no plans to influence the gas prices through changing the volume of the produced fuel. Asked about the appropriate intention the deputy chairman of Gazprom said the company had never done this and wasn’t going to start.
