Russia is satisfied with the oil price and doesn’t insist on the freezing of extraction

​Russia will not be represented at the meeting of OPEC on June 2nd in Vienna and it doesn’t insist of the freezing of oil extraction in the world, the Minister of Energy of Russia A. Novak, said.

Today we can see that oil prices have become quite high compared with 2015, the issue of extraction freezing is not important any more, the Minister said.

Only a few weeks ago Russia insisted on signing the deal with OPEC so as to stop the oil price fall.

In January 2016 the prices fell below $30/barrel but in May the price rose to about $50/barrel.
