Rosneft begins geological exploration and research at the Okhotsk Sea shelf

Rosneft has started seismic exploration at the license sites of Lisyansky, Kashevarovsky and Magadan-1. It operates at the sites jointly with Statoil. They are going to perform at the sites 2D seismic exploration together with onboard gravity and magnet metric survey. The data gathering will be performed simultaneously from one special research ship Academician Fersman NIS.

The total volume of the work is 10,000 linear km, including 5,300 km at Lisyansky, 2,000 at Kashevarovsky and 2,700 km at Magadan-1.
