Scientific and technical center of "Gazpromneft" as part of a consortium of leading Russian institutes completed the adaptation of a unique core technology analysis (sample rocks) to the layers of the Bazhenov Formation. It revealed new properties of parent rocks in unconventional oil deposits and improve the accuracy of forecasting.
Research was conducted under the federal program a comprehensive study of the Bazhenov Formation, the press service of the company informs.
