New GOK to be constructed on Novaya Zemlya archipelago

The northernmost and largest in the Arctic region mining and processing complex for lead-zinc ore processing from the Pavlovskoye deposit on Novaya Zemlya archipelago is planned to be put in operation in 2021, according to the report by Atomredmetzoloto (ARMZ Uranium Holding Co) in 2015.

The balance reserves of Pavlovskoye deposit (cat.B+C1+C2) amounts to more than 2.48 million tons of zinc, 549 thousand tons of lead and 1.194 thousand tons of silver.
