At the end of 2014 the net profit of "Rosneft" to be $ 13.5 billion - Igor Sechin.

At the end of 2014 the net profit of "Rosneft" will be $ 13.5 billion,in H1 2014 it only amounted to $5 billion on revenue of $ 80 billion, Igor Sechin, the head of the oil giant, stated in an interview with the German magazine Der Spiegel. According to him the resource base of the company will provide it with work for more than 20 years. The western sanctions against Russia will not prevent "Rosneft" from fulfilling all the contractual and financial obligations.

I. Sechin gave other forecasts for the net profit at the annual meeting of the oil company’s shareholders, it was roughly about 380 billion roubles. "We have all the indicators rising, but the net profit remains at 2013, taking into account the deterioration of the macroeconomic situation", - ITAR-TASS quoted him in late June.

As follows from the interview with the top manager of Der Spiegel, 2014 became profitable for the oil company, despite the fact that "no other company pays as much tax. In 2014, we will pay more than $ 80 billion to the treasury", - the information agency quoted. Sechin also stated that the Western sanctions against the Russian oil giant concern include only fields that are to be developed in the future, and the available resource base of "Rosneft" will ensure its operation for more than 20 years.
