Lukoil to remain fundamentally attractive

In the first six months of 2014, the net profit of Lukoil under US GAAP decreased by 11.6% to $4.13 billion, the company reported. In the second quarter, the net profit grew by 14.5% as compared to the same period of the previous year to $2.4 billion.

In the first six months of 2014, the sales revenue increased by 7.3% to $73.88 billion. In the second quarter, the revenue increased by 9% year-to-year to $38.2 billion. In January-June 2014, the company’s pretax income fell to 15.15% to $5.27 billion. In the second quarter, the profit before tax increased by 1% to $2.87 billion.
