Rosneft to invest $ 400 billion into the Arctic by 2030.

"Rosneft" plans to invest $ 400 billion into the Arctic up to 2030, Igor Sechin stated in an interview with Der Spiegel magazine.

"Our company values its cooperation with ExxonMobil, which is already 20 years on, starting from the Sakhalin project. We are working at such high latitudes in the Kara Sea, where no one else is drilling. We expect to open a new oil province, the reserves of which are comparable to the proven reserves of Saudi Arabia. Until 2030, we ["Rosneft"] intend to invest $ 400 billion in the Arctic", - Sechin stated.
