“Gazprom bureniye” drilled the first 4 bore holes at the Thermokarst deposit

The construction of the bore holes No 211, 212, 201 and 207 at the Thermokarst oil-and-gas condensate deposit in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area has been carried out within the frame of an agreement with CJSC “Terneftegas” (JV of OJSC “NOVATEK” and the French “Total”).
There has been reached a record in the drilling of deep operational wells at the construction of the bore hole No201. There was drilled an extended reach drilling well (ERD) of 5240 meters in depth, with a horizontal displacement of 3603 meters, an open hole of 2024 meters and a horizontal section of 1507 meters. The work has been done by 20 days ahead of time.
