In January – August, the Ukraine reduced gas consumption by 8%, the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of the Ukraine reports. In August, gas consumption declined by 6.1% to 1.948 billion rubles. Within 8 months, gas production increased by 0.03% to 13.6 billion cubic m, and in August, production was 1.7 billion cubic m.
