The major part of hydrocarbon reserves explored at Russian shelf for 10 years
In the last decade Russia has discovered more than two thirds of its raw hydrocarbons. This statement was made by deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Denis Khramov. “Currently the resource base of the internal sea waters, the territorial sea and the continental shelf of Russia, including the Azov and the Caspian Seas as well as the gulfs, makes up 115.1 billion tons of reference fuel. At the same time, the reserves make up 15.4 billion. There are 139 acting licenses for the subsoil sectors of federal importance, the last of them was given on September 18th, 2013 to Rosneft (Amur-Limansky and East-Pribrezhny subsoil sectors). In 2012 four new deposits were discovered”, he said.
