Novatek finds the second customer of future gas from Yamal

The Spanish gas company Fenosa has concluded a long-term contract on the purchase of 2.5 million tons of liquefied natural gas per year from the future LNG plant in Yamal, controlled by Russian Novatek. The contract is for 20 years, Reuters reports, referring to its sources in the industry.

This is the second contract on LNG purchase from the plant, which is scheduled to be launched in 2016. The first 15-year contract on supply of 3 million cubic meters of LNG per year the company of Gennady Timchenko concluded with China National Petroleum Corp, which has 20% in the Yamal LNG project..
