Severstal-Balakovo plant is almost ready to supply the enterprise with gas

The automated gas-distributing station Severstal-Balakovo plant conducts the start-up works with use of natural gas. This is the final stage of the preparation for the gas supply to the enterprise for further complex testing of the technological equipment of the long product rolling mill with use of the base metal.
The automated gas-distributing station is one of the key energy sectors of the mini-plant. Its main function is the reduction of natural gas with the pressure of 5.4-0.6 MPa and the maintenance of the pressure at the target level. Gas will be used by the heating furnace of the long product rolling mill.
