Total replenishes "Rosneft" in Germany by selling its stake in the "Schwedt" oil refinery.

During the very first visit to Moscow the new head of Total Patrick Pauyanne made a deal: the company sold "Rosneft" 16.67% in the German oil refinery. As a result, the structures with the participation of the Russian state-owned company consolidated more than 54% in it. The amount of the transaction was not disclosed, but the experts estimate it at about $ 250 million.

"Rosneft" acquires 16.67% in the PCK Raffinerie GmbH from the French Total, which owns the refineries in Schwedt, Germany. The deal was announced during the first visit to Moscow of the new head of Total Patrick Pauyanne, who replaced Christophe de Margerie, who died in Vnukovo a month ago. "The deal will strengthen the position in one of the most efficient oil refineries in Europe", - the head of "Rosneft" stated. The companies agreed to supply the products of the Total retail to its wholesale customers.
