Rosnedra might offer 75-80 sites in Khanty Mansi Autonomous Area in 2016

​In 2016 Rosnedra might offer 75-80 sites in the Khanty Mansi Autonomous Area. This is by twice more than in 2015.

In 2015 the Khanty Mansi Autonomous Area offered to include 35 sites for geological exploration aiming for the search and assessment of deposits on the account of subsoil users. The preliminary total assessment of recoverable forecast oil resources makes up 345.3 mln tons, gas – 25 bln cubic m.

It was also suggested including 43 sites for geological study, exploration and extraction of mineral resources into the licensing program. The total recoverable oil reserves make up 295.8 mln tons, gas – 19.1 bln cubic m, the interlocutor of the agency said.

As of September 2015, the licensing program for 2015 comprised 34 sites (79% of the offer of Yugra) for exploration and extraction as well as 23 sites (66% of the offer of Yugra) for search and assessment of deposits of mineral resources on the account of subsoil users. The department said that currently it is difficult to say if all the sites suggested being included into the licensing program will be transferred for use to Rosnedra. A significant part of them is likely to be included into the licensing program – 2016, the interlocutor of the agency said.
