Russia expects payment for gas soon

Russia expects the payment for gas by the Ukraine in the coming days, Minister of Energy of Russia, A. Novak, said.
The Ukraine needs to make an advance payment monthly so as to receive gas from Russia. On Tuesday the head of Gazprom, A. Miller, said that the Ukraine hadn’t made an advance payment for March supplies.
“We don’t have the exact information as when the advance payment will be made. It depends on the Ukraine only”, Mr. Novak said. He also said that it is about a few coming days.
