In 2015, the oil sector of Russia showed steady development. It produced record 534 million tons of oil (+1.4% y-o-y). President of Russia V.Putin stated.
“It should be pointed out that government measures on stimulation of production in Eastern Siberia, Far East, at the shelf and development of deposits with hard to recover reserves played positive role,” he added.
