Turkish companies insist that Gazprom has reduced supplies

There is a continuation of the story of Gazprom’s reduction of gas supply to the consumers in Turkey. Enerco enerji states that gas supply has really been cut.

It is said that recently Gazprom export demanded Enerco enerji to pay for gas by new increased tariffs and warned that in case of refusal it would reduce the supply without any official notification, Enerco enerji says.

Enerco enerji says that it pays for gas according to the contract. In April 2015 private Turkish importers agreed with Gazprom export on the reduction of the contract price and that agreement was termless. However, in late 2015 Gazprom export asked to reconsider a new price, the respective negotiations started, they go on today.

Nevertheless, gas supplies have  been reduced. This situation causes serious risks for importers and for the image of Russia as a supplier of gas and energy products to Turkey, Enerco enerji says.
