Carbon steel production in the Ukraine rose 2% in Q1

In Q1 2013 the Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises increased the carbon steel production against the same period in 2012 by 1.8% to 8.322 mln tons.
Moreover, the Ukraine increased the cast iron output by 2% to 7.272 mln tons but reduced the production of finished rolled products by 2.4% to 6.547 mln tons.
