Plant for “Yamal LNG” to be constructed by companies from Japan and France

GC and Technip have won the tender for the construction of the LNG plant in Yamal.

“Yamal LNG” OJSC selected on the results of the tender a consortium of Technip (France) and JGC (Japan) to construct the LNG plant with the capacity of 16.5 mln tons a year.

The consortium will project, supply the equipment and materials and spare parts, construct and put into operation the complex. Technip France and JGC are reported to be among the leading international engineering and construction companies that have good experience in the execution of the interface projection and contracts for LNG plants’ construction around the world.
