Ukrgasdobycha starts to produce autogas

​Ukrgasdobycha PJSC starts to produce autogas at the Seleschensky and Yablunovsky gas processing plants. Previously all the enterprises of Ukrgasdobycha produced technical propane butane mixture.

The entire resource produced at the 2 key enterprises of Ukrgasdobycha is planned to meet the autogas standard.

The first lots of autogas from these enterprises will be put up for the next auction on April 10th: 2,360 tons of gas of the Seleschinsky gas processing plant and 4,284 tons of the Yablunovsky plant.

“From 2017 all enterprises will have to turn to the production of autogas, there is no sense to wait – the market is ready for high-quality autogas”, is reported.

The source said that autogas differs from technical propane butane mixture by a smaller content of liquid residue and better proportion of propane and butane. In Fact autogas is a product of additional cleaning of technical propane butane mixture as a result of which about 5% of gross product is lost. “In theory autogas should be more expensive than technical propane butane mixture, however, it will be determined by the demand in the market”, a representative of the state company said.
