There have been discovered 2 large hydrocarbon deposits in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area. The total reserves make up 48 million tons of oil equivalent. The reserves of C1 and C2 categories of the Ouryinskoye deposit on the border of the Sverdlovsk region make up 33 million tons.
