The Opal Pipeline: full load.

Alexander Novak, Russian Energy Minister, stated that the government has almost prepared an order for the full operation of the Opal pipeline. This will give an opportunity to transport the natural gas to the European Union at an acceptable level of stability.

Notice that Opal gas pipeline with a capacity of 36 billion cubic meters of gas annually, passes through the territory of Germany. This pipeline connects the existing GTS with the transbaltic trunk pipeline "Nord Stream". Germany and Russia wanted to achieve a number of benefits in the valuation regulations of the 3rd EU Energy Package for Opal, so that Gazprom could fully utilize the capacity of the pipeline.
