Krasnoyarsk aluminum plant will build new casting shop costing $45 million

UC Rusal will build a new casting shop for cylinder bars production costing $45 million at the Krasnoyarsk aluminum plant for an increase of the share of alloys in total yield of the company. The new complex is meant for cylinder bars production including those of large diameter, up to 460 mm especially in demand in the car manufacturing sector. Its annual capacity will be 120,000 tons. Currently UC Rusal produces cylinder bars with diameter up to 200 mm. They will consume the new products of the plant the construction, packaging and car sectors.
