Gas pipeline between Slovakia and Hungary launched

The Slovakia – Hungary gas pipeline with capacity of 4.38 billion cubic meters of gas per year has been launched, a representative of the gas transportation system operator in Slovakia Eustream Vahram Chuguryan reported.

He said that the length of the new gas pipeline is 110.7 km, 92.1 km of which are on Hungarian territory and 18.6 km - in Slovakia. The end points of the route are the Slovak village of Velke Zlievtse and Vecses near Budapest.
