Gazprom and Botas can finish negotiations on gas discount

Gazprom and the Turkish state-owned company Botas are likely to finish negotiations on the amount of discounts for Russian gas to the Turkish company by mid-July, the Reuters reports with reference to representatives of the Turkish authorities.

Earlier it was reported that Gazprom agreed to give Botas a gas discount in the amount of 10.25%, but the parties sill must sign the corresponding agreement. Deputy chairman of the Gazprom’s Board Alexander Medvedev said that the document was planned to be signed before the end of June. Around the same period, the Russian Federation and Turkey were to sign an intergovernmental agreement on the Turkish Stream gas pipeline project.
