Internal oil sales have become more advantageous in Russia than exports

Internal oil prices have passed the threshold of the ‘global maximum’ achieved 5 years ago and continue rising in Russia. In summer, oil price increased by 20% to 13,900 – 14,400 rubles per ton, exceeding the maximum of July 2008 when global prices achieved absolute record of $147 per barrel.
