Carbon steelmaking in the Ukraine is down 11% in Jan-August

The Ukrainian steel companies reduced the output of carbon steel by 11.1% to 19.693 million tons in January-August 2014 year-on-year. “Metallurgprom” Group of companies states about it.
Cast iron production has decreased by 6.4% to 18.203 million tons, roll stock – by 11% to 17.340 million tons in the Ukraine in January-August this year.
