Gazprom reports precise term of beginning of gas supplies to China on “eastern” route - in 2019

Gazprom has announced the precise term of the beginning of gas supplies to China on the “eastern” route - in 2019. This was reported by chairman of the Russian concern’s Board, Alexei Miller on the results of the meeting with the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Chinese State Council, Wen Zhang Gaoli.

The 30-year contract for supply of up to 38 billion cubic meters of gas per year with the Chinese company CNPC was signed in May of 2014; according to it, the supplies should start in 4-6 years.
