In the first 8 months, Bashneft retained leadership in the growth in the oil production in Russia among oil majors, the Central Dispatch Department of the Fuel and Energy Sector reports.
In August, the company’s production was 1.704 million tons, increased by 11.3% as compared with the same period of 2014. By results of the first 8 months, the company increased its production by 10.4% to 12.778 million tons.
