Oil extraction at Bazhenov Suite to rise to 85 mln tons by 2030 – expert

By 2030 the technologies allowing to provide the extraction of scavenger oil at the Bazhenov Suite to 85 mln tons a year will appear in Russia, President of the Union of Oil Producers of Russia, G. Shmal, said.
We think that by 2030 a possibility of oil extraction at the Bazhenov Suite will make up 80-85 mln tons, he said.
He said that a perspective of oil extraction in Russia is mainly connected with the development of technologies on the development of the Bazhenov Suite as the explored hydrocarbons reserves make up 150-200 bln tons there.
Only the Bazhenov Suite can give us a serious growth of oil extraction, Shmal said.
