Russian Copper Company will develop trans-border deposit from both sides

Within the 11th Forum of intergovernmental cooperation of Russia and Kazakhstan, they closed the agreement about the peculiarities of business activities at the border territory where copper ore production will be carried at the Vesenne-Aralchinskoye deposit.

The growth of the competitiveness of Russia and Kazakhstan depends now on use of trans-border and transit potential. The chief of these two states has paid particular attention to introduction of high technologies and innovations to the economy making emphasis on their direction to the regions. Russian Copper Company realizes several large projects in the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan. Total investment has achieved over $650 million since the start of operation. Investment to the projects in the near years will be $360 million.
