Shale revolution: Chevron’s interests in Ukraine

On November 27 it was officially announced in Warsaw that in 2014 Poland would start commercial extraction of shale gas despite the fact that other European countries are skeptical about this technology (hydrofracturing). For example, France has recently laid prohibition on hydrofracturing due to the contamination it results in. Ukraine is the only country supporting Poland.
