Russia maintains production level close to Soviet period’s rate

In November, the volume of oil production in Russia remained at a level close to the record rate of the Soviet era production. According to the Bloomberg, the volume of the oil and gas condensate production made up 10.779 million barrels per day on the average. The maximum of the Soviet production was recorded in 1987 and amounted to 11.48 million barrels per day.

However, as compared with the October rate, the production fell slightly - in October, Russia produced 10.782 million barrels per day. But it is still by 1.4% higher than in November 2014.
