Novatek and Atomflot have signed agreement for Yamal hydrocarbons transporting

The First Deputy Chairman of Novatek Board, M. Popov and Atomlot CEO, V. Ruksha have signed an agreement on cooperation. The document lays out the grounds of the sides mutual interest and the intention to develop strategic cooperation in the Yamal hydrocarbons transporting via the Northern Sea Route. The document sets the priority spheres of cooperation including the joint elaboration and organization of safe cargoes transport for Novatek's deposits development at Yamal, participation in the Yamal LNG pilot project under Novatek in the organization of off-land LNG transporting by Atomflot ice-breaking fleet and in ice-breaking ships guiding stable gas condensate transport via the Northern Sea Route from the port of Vitino to APO region in 2011.
