In 2013, Severstal-Gonvarri-Kaluga increased sales by 22%

In 2013, Severstal-Gonvarri-Kaluga (a part of Severstal Russian Steel, a joint venture of Severstal and Gonvarri) increased sales to enterprises of the car industry to 70 thousand tons that is by 36.6% or by 18.8 thousand tons more than in 2012. In 2013, the total volume of the enterprise’s sales made up 95 thousand tons that is by 17 thousand tons or by 21.6% more than in 2012.

The share of Cherepovets rolled metal in the total volume of the processing at the enterprise continues to grow – in 2012 this rate was 35.9% and in 2013 – 42.8%.

In 2013, an additional line for the production of cutting billets was installed at Severstal-Gonvarri-Kaluga, an additional industrial building at area of 6 360 square meters was constructed – this allowed the enterprise to increase the storage area by 4 thousand square meters and to reach 30 thousand tons of coils storage capacity. As a result, the capacities of Severstal-Gonvarri-Kaluga grew by 72 thousand tons per year.
