Gazprom to reduce volume of gas purchase from Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan by almost 10 billion cubic meters

This was reported by deputy chairman of the company Alexander Medvedev at the investor day in Hong Kong.

"There is no technological need for the purchase of gas from abroad, regardless of source, for Gazprom as a result of investments in the mining complex and in the transport sector. Gazprom is able to ensure the needs of the market in any region of the Russian Federation, as well as the delivery of gas to our customers both in Europe and in the future, in Asia, from its own resources,"- said the deputy chairman.
