FAS did not receive a request from the UMMC Holding to acquire Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant.

“UMMC-Holding” LLC did not filed a request to the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) for the acquisition of OAO “Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant” (CZP, part of ChelPipe). Chief of the Industry Control Department of FAS A.Ulyanov stated. According to him, the agency did not receive such requests from other companies. A.Ulyanov asserted that in order to acquire the controlling stake of CZP they are to obtain the approval of the Federal Antimonopoly Service.
