SOCAR replaces one more drilling contractor at one of the offshore deposits

Shallow drilling at “Western Absheron” in the Azeri sector of the Caspian Sea will be carried out by OOO “SOCAR-AQS”, where SOCAR has 51% of participation share, the source in SOCAR said to Trend. The deposit is on the balance of an oil-and-gas producing division “Absheronneft” of the company SOCAR.
Complex drilling group of SOCAR held drilling operation at the deposit before. However, according to the source, “SOCAR-AQS” is most likely to hold operations at the deposit in future.
